Desert Rose by Isaac Weston is a sculptural copper work exploring repetition, texture and the changing character of the material.
Individual copper forms are layered like scales across the circular surface, combining areas of luminous, polished copper with richly patinated pieces in earthy tones of rust, ochre, deep red and charcoal. The contrast between raw and aged surfaces creates a sense of depth and movement, shifting subtly as the work catches the light.
