My practice moves between painting, printmaking, drawing and assemblage and I regularly exhibit in solo and group shows throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.

Much of my work comes back to ideas around adoption, identity, obligation and ownership. I often work with found or familiar imagery, shifting it into new settings and combinations to see what else it might say. There’s usually a sense of nostalgia in there somewhere, but I’m interested in unsettling that familiarity -  allowing things to become a little more layered and less literal.

I graduated from Toi Ohomai with a Bachelor of Creative Industries in 2017 and have coordinated the Molly Morpeth Canaday Award since 2022.

Born in Auckland, I now live and work from my studio in Te Puna, Tauranga. My work is held in public and private collections.
