Collection: Isaac Weston

Isaac Weston is a contemporary New Zealand artist whose work transforms reclaimed metals into refined contemporary artworks inspired by the natural world. Exploring light, texture, and patina, his work draws on the patterns and rhythms of landscapes, waterways, and organic forms.

Working primarily with copper and steel, Isaac combines traditional metalworking techniques with hand-developed patinas, allowing oxidation and natural variation to shape each piece. The evolving nature of these materials creates subtle shifts in colour, depth, and surface, ensuring every work is unique while revealing an unexpected warmth and elegance within reclaimed metal.

A full-time artist for over nine years, Isaac’s work is held in private and commercial collections in New Zealand and internationally and has been featured in NZ House & Garden and Your Home & Garden. His work also includes permanent commissions for SkyCity Horizon Hotel Auckland and Coronet Ridge Resort, Queenstown.
