Fringe Tumbler

Playful, colourful and unmistakably handmade, Janna van Hassel’s Fringe Tumblers bring the expressive language of her sculptural practice into an everyday object.

Each tumbler is individually formed and finished in a vibrant combination of colour, with Janna’s hand-drawn black frill motif wrapping around the surface. Irregular lines, softly wonky forms and unexpected colour pairings are celebrated rather than corrected, giving every piece its own personality.

Inspired by the minutiae of domestic and family life, Fringe Tumblers transforms something familiar into something joyful — a functional ceramic designed to be used, mixed, matched and enjoyed.

Available in assorted colourways. As each piece is handmade, variations in form, glaze and detailing are part of its individual character.
