Full of character and quiet charm, Oat is a one-of-a-kind sculptural cow handcrafted by Lynda Soutar from reclaimed copper wire.

Intricately twisted and woven by hand, the copper wire has been finished with a liver of sulphur patina, giving Oat her rich blackened finish while retaining the beautiful texture and detail of the wirework. She stands on a solid timber base, believed to be Matai, creating a warm natural contrast to the dark sculptural form.

A wonderfully tactile piece that celebrates both craftsmanship and the creative reuse of materials.
