The details...
With its instantly recognisable silhouette, Tom Barter’s Rabbit translates the charm of a folded-paper animal into a beautifully resolved glass sculpture.
Part of the artist’s Folded Paper series, the work is created using the lost-wax casting process. Crisp angles and faceted planes reference the geometry of origami, while translucent glass allows light and colour to become part of the sculpture itself.
A playful yet refined object that showcases Tom’s ability to bring character and permanence to the simplest of forms.
